About Rafi
Rafi Bernstein, an SVA educated Artist and graphic designer, was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. He moved to New York in 1999 after completing his IDF service.
Rafi grew up surrounded by Judaica but found that a lot of it was either ultra-embellished or completely stark and modern. He seeks to find a balance between the two opposites—maintaining tradition while incorporating a clean, urban aesthetic.

The ketubah that Rafi lovingly designed and crafted for us is more than a contract and more than a lovely piece of art. It is a foundational element in our home and marriage, grounding us and reminding us daily of the beautiful and sacred promises we made on our wedding day. Rafi is a one-of-a-kind artist and a mensch of a human being, so it’s only fitting that he created a one-of-a-kind piece that brings great naches to our home. Thank you! Sarah & Jeff |

We LOVE our handmade wooden laser cut ketubah. Rafi was wonderful to work with and helped us customize the wording and design. The end product looks spectacular--better than we could have ever imagined. It's hanging in our apartment now and we look forward to putting it on display in future homes as a timeless celebration of our marriage. Jillian and Adam |
Working with Rafi to design our ketubah was one of the highlights of planning our wedding. He was not only receptive to our ideas but confident in his ability to bring them to life. When our wedding night finally arrived, the time spent signing the ketubah with our nearest and dearest before the ceremony turned out to be the most memorable part of the evening. I think that’s in no small part to Rafi’s beautiful and thoughtful craftsmanship. We’ve since bought several other original pieces from him and continue to be impressed and delighted.
